Legal Office Assistant  
The Legal Office Assistant program is designed to provide the student with the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully perform the functions of an entry-level Legal Office Assistant position in a legal office setting. Basic office skills are emphasized along with advanced training in legal office protocols, procedures and law concepts. Additional training is also provided in legal research and forms commonly used in a legal office.

Licensed Vocational Nurse
The Licensed Vocational Nurse program is designed to provide the student with the basic knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of a Licensed Vocational Nurse (DOT code: 079.347-014) in a health care environment. The program is approved by the BVNPT as an accredited training program, the completion of which meets the minimum requirements set forth as necessary for application to take the Vocational Nurse License examination.

Computerized Office Administration
The Computerized Office Administration course is designed to give the student the basic knowledge and skills necessary to work in an entry-level business office support position. Instruction is given in both lecture and "hands on" practical lab format using "stand alone" courses of instruction.

Applied Computerized Office Administration
The Applied Computerized Office Administration course is designed to give the student the basic knowledge and skills necessary to work in an entry-level business office support position. Instruction is given in both lecture and "hands on" practical lab format using "stand alone" courses of instruction. The program builds on the skill learned in the Computerized Office Administration program by adding an additional 160 hours of practical application of the skills through an outside Externship at a business office.

Medical Assistant - Administrative & Clinical
The Medical Assistant - Administrative & Clinical program is designed to give students the basic knowledge and skills necessary to work as an entry-level Medical Assistant in a health care setting. Emphasis is placed on both front office administrative skills as well as back office clinical skills. The administrative portion of the Medical Assistant - Administrative & Clinical program emphasizes the "front office" skills required in a health care setting, while the Clinical portion of the course is designed to prepare the student to work in a clinical environment in a hospital, doctor's office or medical clinic and includes a 160 hour, 4-week externship.

Medical Assistant - Administrative

Front office skills are emphasized along with some basic terminology and procedural techniques commonly performed by Medical Secretaries. Instruction is offered in both lecture and "hands on" practical lab formats using "stand alone" courses of instruction.

Medical Billing / Coding
The Medical Billing/Coding program is designed to provide the student with the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully perform the functions of an entry-level Medical Billing/Coding Assistant position in a medical or insurance office. Basic Medical front office skills are emphasized along with advanced billing/coding, terminology, and procedural techniques commonly performed by Medical Billers and Coders. Billing/Coding is offered in both lecture and "hands on" practical lab formats using "stand alone" courses of instruction.

Dental Assistant **

The Dental Assistant Program is designed to give students the knowledge and skills necessary to work as a Dental Assistant in a dental office; emphasis is placed on both dental office management as well as back office clinical skills. The administrative portion of the Dental Assistant Program emphasizes receptionist responsibilities, marketing, communication techniques, and business office systems including software applications, patient scheduling, and records management. The clinical portion prepares students to work as a chairside assistant in a dental setting. The clinical portion includes a 160-hour, 4-week externship.

Massage Therapy
The Professional Massage Therapy program is designed to prepare the student with the requirements for entry-level employment as a massage therapist. By combining advanced hands-on techniques with a strong academic focus, students gain an in-depth understanding of physiological and psychological processes. Emphasis is placed on law and ethics, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and principles of therapeutic massage.
